This section contains all the information
that you will need to connect to the internet through Maxis net.
Both the Windows and Macintosh versions are supported in the Setup Guide. |

| Outlook Express is an email programme that
will enable you to send and receive emails. |
| |
| 1. |
Double click the Outlook
Express icon on your desktop to open the programme. |
| |

Click Tools on the menu and select
Accounts. |
| |
|
| |
 |
| |
|
| 3. |
At the Internet Accounts screen, select
the Mail tab and click Add Mail. |
| |

The Internet Connection Wizard will
appear. Key in your Display name. Click Next. |
| |
|
| |
 |
| |
|
| 5. |
Now key in your email address provided
by Maxis net and click Next. |
| |
|
| |
 |
| |

| 6. |
At this screen, your Server Type, Incoming
mail server and Outgoing mail server is shown. Click Next
to continue. |

| |

| 7. |
Now you will be asked to key in your
User name and password. Click Next to continue. |

| |

| 8. |
Click Finish to save the settings.

| |
You will now return to the Internet
Accounts screen. Click Close to exit. |

| Optional Settings: |
| If you are using Maxis net email account to
send emails but establishing the Internet connection via other ISP, you
need to enable the in your email client software. |

Go to tools > accounts. |

Select on account and click on Properties. |
| |

| |
 |
| |
|
| 3. |
Please ensure your Maxis net's username
and email address are correct. |

| |

| 4. |
Click on the server tab and then select
on "My Server Requires Authentication" to enable the authentication
option. (Note: This setting is required only if you are using Maxis
net email account to send emails but establishing the Internet connection
via other ISP.) |

Ensure the "Connection", "Security"
and "Advance" settings are set to default as following: |
