2. How do I join Scary Portal?
You will need to register first. Send REG
to 27887. Example: "REG ALEX."After that you can choose your preferred character and start sending your attacks.
3. Do I need to pay any subscription fee for joining Scary Portal?
No, you do not need to pay any subscription fee.
4. How do I send an attack?
You can send you attack by typing <code><space><mobile number of the person to attack> or <code><space><username of the person to attack> and send to 27887. Example: "A KU 0123334444"or "A KU SARAH"Refer to the list of attack codes below:

5. Can I choose to attack using random attack actions?
Yes, you may.
To send random SMS attacks, type A<space><mobile number of the person to attack> or A<space><username of the person to attack> and send to 27887. Example: "A 0123334444"or "A SARAH".
To send random MMS attacks, type M<space><mobile number of the person to attack> or M<space><username of the person to attack> and send to 27887. Example: "M 0123334444"or "M SARAH".
6. Can I send attacks to those who are not registered to Scary Portal?
Yes, you can. However, the person you attack will only know who attacked him/her after he/she registers to Scary Portal.
7. Can I send any attacks without registering to Scary Portal?
No, you are unable to do so until you have registered to Scary Portal.
8. How much do I need to pay for sending each attack?
Each new user is entitled to send 3 attacks for free. After the, for each SMS attack sent you will be charged RM0.30 and for each MMS attack sent you will be charged RM0.50. The standard charge of RM 0.15 for sending a SMS to shortcode 27887 still applies.
9. How do I go to the Scary Portal site?
The Scary Portal is located at the Maxis wapsite. You can go to this link by sending SP to 27887. You need to login using either your mobile number or username and password.
10. How do I retrieve my forgotten password?
You can retrieve your password by sending PASSWORD to 27887.
11. How do I choose my character?
You can choose and find out more about the characters when you first login to the Scary Portal wapsite. Choose carefully because you can only select your character once and it cannot be changed afterwards. Alternatively, you can also choose your characters by sending these SMS keywords:
To select zombie, send ZOMBIE to 27887
To select vampire, send VAMPIRE to 27887
To select ghost, send GHOST to 27887
12. How do I increase the level of my characters?
You can increase your character's strength level with the accumulation of points. Your character's strength level will be upgraded when it reached the points required. Level up chart as below:

13. How do I know what my level I'm at?
You will be sent a weekly reminder to tell you your level, rank and total points collected. Every time your level goes us, you will also be notified via SMS. You can also view your level when you login to the Scary Portal wapsite.
14. How do I know my total points are?
You will be informed of your total points every time you send out an attack or when you are being sent an attack. You will also receive a weekly reminder to inform you of your current level, rank and total points collected. You can also view your total points when you login to the Scary Portal wapsite.
15. How does the point system work?
Points are awarded to users who send out an attack i.e SMS/MMS. Subsequently, points will be deducted from users who receives an attack. The amount of points awarded and deducted will be dependant on the level of the user who sends out the attack. Refer to the point chart below for an illustration :
Example #1, if a player A (Level 3) attacks a player B (Level 1)

16. How do I stop my participating in Scary Portal?
You can stop your Scary Portal account by sending STOP to 27887. Note: This will delete your account and you can no longer send any attacks to your friends. The points you have collected will expire within one month from the date you have stopped your account unless you register again with a new Scary Portal account before the expiry date.

Game
1. Eligibility. This "Send Action" game (the "Game") is open to all users of MAXIS postpaid and prepaid (Hotlink) who are registered to "Service". Employees of MAXIS and affiliates, partners, respective advertising and promotional agencies, including immediate families can participate but are not eligible to win any prizes and/or rewards.
2. To Play.
User will need to register first before he/she can start playing the game. Registration is Free.
There is no limitation as to how many actions you can send. Each action sent will be charged. SMS actions will be charged RM0.30 and MMS actions will be charged RM0.50.
Users below 18 years of age will require parental consent and permission to play.
Standard SMS request cost still applies.
Users acknowledge the "Game" rules are to be interpreted in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
3. Fees and Charges.
Registration is free.
First three (3) actions are free.
For every action sent after the first 3 free attacks will be charged as follows:
For each SMS attack that you sent via SMS keywords (eg. "A KU SARAH" or "R SARAH"), RM0.30 will be charged. The standard SMS cost of RM0.15 will also be charged for each attack sent.
For each MMS attack that you sent via SMS keywords (eg. "M KU SARAH" or "RM SARAH"), RM0.50 will be charged. The standard SMS cost of RM0.15 will also be charged for each attack sent.
For each SMS attack that you sent via the Scary Portal wapsite, RM0.30 will be charged. For each MMS attack that you sent via the Scary Portal wapsite, RM0.50 will be charged.
4. Content Redemption.
Contents can only be redeemed using the points collected in the "Game".
Maxis cannot be held liable for any failure or unsuccessful redemption of contents.
5. Points
Points are not redeemable for cash and are non-transferable. These points can only be used in the "Game".
The point system may be changed without prior notice to users.
In the event that there is any dispute over the points collected, the points in the system log shall be deemed as the final points. Any claims of any points other than shown in the system shall be deemed invalid.
6. Moderation.
Please be considerate when sending attacks to other users.
Users with heart problems or who are not able to take horror and suspense well, please play at your own risk.
Maxis is not liable for any losses or consequences caused from participating in and/or by any involvement in the "Game".
Maxis reserve the right to remove any player from this service if you are found to be abusing this service and/or harassing other players without any prior notification.
7. Miscellaneous. By participating in the "Game", participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and by the decisions of MAXIS, which are final in all matters relating to the "Game".
8. General Conditions. This "Game" is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. All incidental expenses from playing the "Game" shall be the sole responsibility of the user.
MAXIS reserves the right to suspend or cancel the "Game" in its sole discretion if including without limitation a computer virus, bug or other technical problems corrupts the administration or security of the "Game".
General
1. Confidentiality. Customer information obtained from the use of the "Service" shall be kept confidential and shall not be disclosed to any third party without the written consent of MAXIS.
